The dry life is the high life. That’s my motto. If you’re curious about sobriety, the sobriety movement, and the culture of drinking (and not drinking) in America, welcome.

Hello! My name is Kelly and I’m brand spanking new at this non-drinking thing. It’s been long enough where I’m no longer counting days or weeks, but months (and yes, I’m proud). I’ve been sharing my sobriety story with friends — and acquaintances, because, Facebook — and can see how letting the skeletons out of my closet is helping them confront theirs. So now, the only logical next step is to introduce my skeletons to complete strangers and see if I can help them (you!) too.

I’m not blazing any new trails here, I know. There are many fabulous sober blogs, books, podcasts, websites, Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts — oh my! But I am going through it, too, and have a voice and a desire to contribute to the growing collective of brave and superhero-strong souls who have walked in these shoes and have been sharing their stories with the world. There is (even more) strength in numbers so you can add me as a +1.

I invite you to join me for the ride, and to laugh with me (or at me) because “blessed are we who can laugh at ourselves for we shall never cease to be amused.” – Terri Garey

Love, K
